THE Muppets and bread makers Warburtons sent Bolton — and the internet — into a crumpet-induced frenzy.
Viewers cannot get enough of the new advertisement which sees everyone's favourite Hollywood puppets and the Bolton bakery join forces to showcase Warburtons' new Giant Crumpets.
Writing on Twitter, Amy Churchman said: "The Muppets, Bolton and crumpets; this advert may be the greatest thing ever."
Rachael Howarth said: "So much love for the new Warburtons Muppets advert. Please tell me someone makes those 'I love Bolton' mugs!"

Tony Grimshaw said: "Just watched Warburtons giant crumpet ad with Muppets. Taking it to another level. Notice the I love Bolton mugs."
Kermit the Frog, The Swedish Chef, Fozzie Bear, Statler and Waldorf, Sweetums and, of course, the one and only Miss Piggy, star in two minutes of unadulterated fun as Warburtons joins the Christmas advertising frenzy.
In the TV spot, the much-loved Muppets pull out all the stops to persuade Jonathan Warburton, chairman of the family business, to join them in their latest spectacle — The Giant Crumpet Show.
The family favourites sing and dance their way around a Warburtons bakery to celebrate the new Giant Crumpets, which measure almost twice the size of the company's standard crumpets.
Rhian Ianto Cork, who now lives in Cardiff, said: "The new @Warburtons advert makes me feel proud to be from Bolton. I miss home. Where can I get an I love Bolton mug?"

Rockyraccoon said: "Loving your new Muppet crumpet commercial. As I did the last one with Sly Stallone."
In January, Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone recreated a famous scene from the iconic boxing film Rocky — on the steps of Bolton Town Hall — for a Warburtons advertisement.
